The ongoing saga between popular Nigerian singer, Davido, and businessman Abu Salami has taken a new twist, with students from their football academy voicing surfacing to appeal to the crooner.
Recall that Abu Salami accused Davido of owing him N218 million after failing to deliver the task he was paid to carry out.
In a recent development, some young football players from Abu Salami’s academy passionately implored Davido to refund their boss the whopping sum of money.
They further disclosed the challenging conditions they have found themselves in, stating that they often have to resort to drinking garri after their morning training sessions due to financial constraints. The students stressed that Davido’s failure to return the funds is affecting their dreams and aspirations.
Speaking further, the boys intensified their appeal by begging Davido with his newborn twins and wife, Chioma.
They pleaded with him to consider their plight and pay the debt as they need the funds to assist their own families.
