The son of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, has broken his silence after being dragged into the ongoing online feud between Verydarkman and King Mitchy.
The controversy began after Verydarkman accused King Mitchy of being used as a political pawn to launder the image of the current administration. He also alleged in a separate video that Seyi Tinubu and Mitchy were threatening his life.
Reacting via his Instagram Story, Seyi Tinubu dismissed the allegations as false and baseless. He explained that he met King Mitchy only once in a public setting, alongside other people. During that meeting, he said he offered financial support for her NGO activities, just as he has supported many young Nigerians and organisations focused on empowerment.
He stressed that there was no private encounter, secret arrangement, or any form of impropriety between them. Seyi further stated that he would not allow himself to be bullied or dragged into narratives built on speculation.
According to him, supporting charitable causes is not a crime, and repeating falsehoods does not turn them into truth. He called for de-escalation and responsible discourse, reaffirming his commitment to serving Nigerians with integrity and transparency.
