Nigerian businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has reacted to reports of a gathering by the City Boys Movement in Imo State.

In a statement shared online, Fayose questioned the timing of the meeting and expressed doubt about the level of support that Bola Ahmed Tinubu could receive in the South-East region.

He said, “I can assure the City Boys Movement that Bola Ahmed Tinubu will never get 20% of the votes from the South-East, except if the election is rigg£d.”

Fayose also questioned the motive behind the gathering in Imo State.

“Has the campaign started already? Why are they gathering in Imo State?”

His comments have since sparked reactions online, with supporters and critics debating the political influence of the president in the South-East ahead of future elections.
