Nigerian singer Tems has shut down speculation that she is collaborating with rapper Odumodublvck after a video of them together in a recording studio went viral online.
The clip showed Odumodublvck recording while Tems and her manager were present, prompting fans to assume a joint project was underway.
However, Tems’ manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, clarified that no collaboration is in progress. He explained that Tems merely stopped by the studio casually and was not involved in any recording session.
“Wasn’t a collab. This was the technician session… I asked her to pull up just to hang for a bit,” Awoniyi wrote.
“Don’t bring my artiste into trash conversations abeg.”
Tems remains one of Nigeria’s most successful global artistes, with a Grammy Award and widespread international acclaim, while Odumodublvck continues to solidify his status in the Nigerian rap scene.
