Regina Daniels escapes death by the whiskers for the second time in 2023

Actress Regina Daniels has narrated her first ever flight scare and near death experience during a trip to Asaba, Delta State.

The mother of two and her politician husband, Ned Nwoko were invited by the Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori and wife, Tobore Oborevwori to the funeral ceremony and thanksgiving service of Mama Agnes Avwenyotoma, mother of the governor’s wife.

Speaking about the trip in a now deleted Instagram post on Tuesday, Regina said death looked her in the face for the second time this year and it felt like her heart was going to explode. She wrote:

“Being an original is such a big flex. On this trip, I had my first ever flight scare/panic attack. For the second time this year, death looked me in the face. My heart and the plane were at the same frequency like they were going to explode.”

Regina also posted photos from her trip on her Instagram account and shared a video from the burial ceremony she attended with her husband. Regina Daniels captioned the video:

“We honored the invitation of the executive governor and First Lady of delta state to celebrate the life of the mother of the first lady. Late Mama Agnes Avwenyotoma tager. Then we proceeded to church for a thanksgiving ceremony.”

“My pastor paid for everything, all i did was to cook” – Chef dammy spills details about controversial cookathon In a bid to address the ongoing controversy surrounding her recent cooking marathon, chef Dammy has come forward to clarify the source of funding for the event and dispel rumors implicating her pastor. The cooking marathon, which lasted an astounding 120 hours and commenced on Friday, June 9, had attracted widespread attention and speculation. Responding to the allegations, Chef Dammy released a statement on Twitter, asserting that her pastor and members of her church were the financial facilitators behind the event. She emphasized that she was merely the face of the church’s endeavor and was not directly involved in the funding process. She expressed her disappointment at the lack of focus on the initial capital investment required to launch the program, as critics predominantly focused on the money raised during the marathon. “People always criticize about the money coming in, but they don’t ask about the money that was used to start up the whole program,” Dammy stated. “This program was fully funded by my pastor and a few members of the church. I was not involved in anything. The only thing I did in everything was to cook. I was just the face of the church.” Addressing the rumors surrounding her pastor’s involvement in the proceeds from the cooking marathon, Chef Dammy categorically denied the allegations. She urged individuals to refrain from spreading false information, affirming that more than half of the funds generated were still in her personal account. Dammy clarified that the total amount received had not surpassed the initial investment made to establish the event. “As a matter of fact, all the money that came in for me is not yet up to the money that was used to set up everything. And more than half of the supposed money that came in is still in my personal account. So ongoing rumors about my pastor should please cease,” Dammy explained.
