President Bola Tinubu has linked rising insecurity in Nigeria to climate change and ongoing conflicts in the Sahel region.
Tinubu made the remarks during a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, where he discussed security challenges facing Nigeria.

He stated that “Nigeria, the largest country in West Africa facing terrorism, is challenged by conflicts from the Sahel and climate change.”
