There was jubilation in Okija in Anambra state as all the Youths ably led by Comrade Zuma and Hon. Ezeolu on Tuesday November 16 marched in solidarity with full commitment and dedication towards eradicating the menace of cultism, drug abuse and mkpûrû mmiri (methamphetamine) in the entirety of the Okija town.
It was learnt that a great stakeholder from the town Okija, Prince Ken Emeakayi (Dikeanagbaraizu) led the youths to tour through the entire Okija passing this important message of “NO” to drug abuse, Cultism and consumption of mkpûrû mmiri. They also warned to deal seriously with anyone found guilty of committing any of the crimes mentioned.
This is commendable especially now that the menace of cultism, drug abuse and mkpûrû mmiri is the order of the day thereby leading to so many untimely death.
Our correspondent learnt that Okija is a town with about 30 communities in Anambra state, a home of notable Nigerians like Dr Ernest Azudialu (OBIJACKSON), Dr Dan Chukwudozie (Dozzy), Engr Paul Erinne (Ugogbeanaedo), High Chief Ezeneche (King of six Nations), Chief Chimezie Nwankwo (Abig), Mr Pipeline, Prof Fidelis Ejezie, HRM Obi Ohazulunye, Dr Confidence Nkameme and others too numerous to mention.
