Okija Heroes Assembly Hosts Successful 2025 AGM in Awka

Okija Heroes Assembly (OHA), under the leadership of National President High Chief Williams Nnaka (Ijele Okija), successfully held its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Don Ritz Hotel, Awka. The two-day event, which brought together members from across the Country and Diaspora, commenced with arrivals on November 15, 2025, followed by a dinner that evening. The formal meeting took place on November 16, 2025, with members departing on Monday, November 17, 2025.

According to High Chief Nnaka, this year’s AGM was “the best of them all,” as key issues concerning the members and the development of Okija were discussed. “We have numerous projects lined up for our people. We are indeed the Heroes,” he stated.

During the meeting, Dr. Frank Igbojindu Akuyienwataegwu (CEO, Akpoazaa Group) highlighted the importance of Akuluouno, emphasizing its role in fostering growth and development for Okija and Anambra State at large. Other notable members, including Hon. Arinze Onunkwo (Ichie Ezeanaekwu Okija), Chief Fabian Nnaemeka, Hon. Moses Ezeamakam, Amb. Ujummadu (Akumsinigwe Okija), Chief Sunday Okeke (Etiokwe na Okija), Chief Anatuegwu, Chief Chikaelo, Chief Como, and Hon. Odomiri, all expressed optimism about advancing the club’s mission of supporting the progress of its members and the town of Okija.

The AGM also saw the rollout of several projects and programs slated for 2026, promising continued impact in the town.

With its strong leadership and committed membership, Okija Heroes Assembly (OHA) continues to set the standard for community development in the Southeast.
