A Nigerian man has sparked debate online after publicly declaring his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and urging citizens to remain patient despite the country’s ongoing economic challenges.
In a viral social media post, he stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is what Nigeria needs at this time, expressing confidence that the party will secure another term in office. He emphasized that economic improvement is possible if Nigerians continue to exercise patience.
According to him, many of Nigeria’s current difficulties stem from long-standing structural issues, including the effects of past military governments. He argued that the current administration is working to correct these problems.
The man also highlighted what he described as key achievements of the government, including granting autonomy to local governments an effort he claimed was not implemented under former President Muhammadu Buhari. He further pointed to changes in the naira’s exchange rate as a sign of progress.
