Popular American streamer Kai Cenat has spoken about his deep emotional attachment to Nigeria, describing the country as the first place where he experienced overwhelming love.
The popular content creator made this known during a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos House in Marina.
Kai, who initially visited Nigeria in 2024, disclosed that his return was to continue and follow up on projects he began during his earlier stay in the country.
Sharing his excitement about being back in Lagos, the streamer praised the warm welcome he received upon arrival, saying, “I am glad to be here. I love coming here. When I landed, the love was crazy. Nigeria is the first country I felt like 100 per cent love.”
His statement has since triggered reactions across social media, with many Nigerians applauding him for openly expressing admiration for the country and its people.
During the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu spoke about key youth empowerment and tourism initiatives being implemented by his administration. He also revealed that the Eyo Cultural Festival organised in December attracted about 10,000 participants, alongside thousands of spectators.
Kai Cenat’s increasing ties with Nigeria continue to excite fans, particularly young Nigerians who see his visits as a positive boost to the nation’s global presence in digital media and entertainment.
