Carter Efe did not name the individual behind the blackmail, but he hinted at the impending release of the compromising video.
In his message to his loyal supporters, he conveyed his inability to control the situation, leaving him with no choice but to confront the challenge head-on.

“I am here to publicly announce that I am being blackmailed and that my sex tape will be released soon. I’m just here to let everyone know before it’s out. Peace.”
The revelation from Carter Efe follows closely on the heels of a widely publicized sex tape leak involving Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal.
The explicit video, which rapidly went viral on various social media platforms, depicted Lawal engaged in intimate activities with an unidentified man who appeared to be in his 40s.
