Nollywood actor Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, has voiced strong concerns over disturbing trends on social media.
In a recent statement, the actor criticized the way harmful substances are being turned into online content, especially in videos suggesting self-harm.
“We have kids who are already using phone. I don’t know when people turned Sniper and Hypo into content, in the name of ‘I want to end it all.’ I’m calling on the police to stand up and start arresting them,” he said.
Ijebu stressed that such content could negatively influence young viewers who have easy access to smartphones and social media platforms. His comments come amid ongoing online drama involving Verydarkman and King Mitchy, which has sparked widespread reactions.
