A secondary school staff member, Magaji Adebanjo, has released a distress video from a kidnappers’ den, appealing to Nigerians for help after being abducted along the Kabba road in Kogi State.
In the video, posted by SaharaReporters, Adebanjo looked visibly terrified, with a gun pointed at his head as he pleaded for his life.
He identified himself and stated his circumstances:
“My name is Mogaiji Adebanjo. I’m from Imo Arikoko in Ondo State. I work with Vine Crest College. When I was coming from Iperu, going to Abuja, I was kidnapped along the Kabba road.”
Adebanjo revealed that his abductors are demanding a ransom of ₦100 million for his release. He tearfully pleaded for intervention, citing his family’s vulnerability:
“Please help me! I don’t want to d!e. I have a pregnant wife and a four year old son and an aged father. I don’t want to d!e,. Please help me.”
