A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to seek advice after revealing a painful family history involving abandonment, loss, and a recent call for reconciliation from her estranged father.
In an emotional post, the woman recounted how her father rejected her at birth because she was a girl, leading to her being raised by her grandmother.
“My father rejected me at birth because I was a girl child, out of anger and pain my mother left me with my grandmother when I was just 3 months. My grandma raised me single handedly.
Until my mother p@ssed away, I never had the chance to see her,” she said.
She added that her father remained absent throughout key moments of her life, including her marriage.
“When I got married, my father did not attend, and later I went through a div0rce and also l0st my son,” she revealed.
According to her, the situation has now taken a new turn as her father, who reportedly suffered a stroke, is asking to see her.
“Now my father has suffered a str0ke and is asking to see me. Everyone is expecting me to step in and take responsibility for him. I am deeply conflicted and don’t know what to do. Please, what should I do?” she asked.
