The Chief Executive Officer of the Gozie Nneji Foundation and proud member of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family, High Chief Gozie Nneji, joined distinguished leaders and philanthropists in Lagos for De Imperial Philanthropic Family 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Ascension Night.
The highly anticipated event, held at The Lagos Continental VI and The Monarch Event Centre, Lekki, brought together influential personalities from across Nigeria who are united by a shared passion for humanitarian service, sustainable development, and community empowerment.
During the event, Chief Nneji expressed his passion for philanthropy and the driving force behind his growing impact in his hometown, Okija, in Anambra State. According to him, giving back to society is not merely a duty but a calling rooted in gratitude and purpose.
I believe strongly that true success must reflect in the lives we touch,” he said.
“Okija made me who I am, and it is my lifelong mission to contribute to the wellbeing and progress of my people.”
As an active member of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family, Chief Nneji reaffirmed that the organization continues to provide a platform where like-minded Nigerians collaborate to uplift the less privileged and support socioeconomic transformation across the country.
This year’s AGM and Ascension Night also celebrated major milestones achieved by the group, including empowerment programs, community development initiatives, and support for widows and indigent households. Chief Nneji noted that such achievements inspire him to do more through the Gozie Nneji Foundation.
He commended the leadership of De Imperial Philanthropic Family under the visionary guidance of its National President, High Chief (Dr.) Sir Darlington Nwabunike (Eze-Nwakaibeya Ogbabalu Aku N’anwu Ojoto), describing the organization as a beacon of hope and unity.
Looking forward, Chief Nneji outlined plans to expand his Foundation’s projects in Okija, including educational support programs, health outreach missions, youth empowerment, and community infrastructure initiatives.
When you build people, you are building a stronger nation,” he emphasized.
“My passion is to ensure that every child and family in Okija feels supported and valued.”
He finally appreciated the Gozie Nneji foundation consultant, Dr Frank Igbojindu CEO Akpoazaa Group, for his unwavering support and guidance.
The evening concluded with networking, recognition of exceptional contributors, and renewed pledge from members to continue advancing grassroots transformation across Nigeria.
High Chief Gozie Nneji remains an inspiring example of leadership from home. A philanthropist whose influence continues to shape lives and light the path for others to follow.
