Dr. Frank Igbojindu, PhD, has called for calm, accountability, and a structured conflict resolution process following the ongoing dispute involving Mr. Costken Tochukwu Igboekweze and some members of the Okija community over undelivered goods and pending refunds.

According to Dr. Igbojindu, the transactions in question originated from business advertisements placed by Mr. Igboekweze on the Okija Solution Movement WhatsApp platform, where he serves as the Chief Administrator. He noted that community members entered into the transactions in good faith, relying on the credibility and integrity of the platform.

Dr. Igbojindu expressed concern over reports that complainants were being removed from the platform for seeking redress, describing such actions as inappropriate and unjust, given that the business engagements were initiated through the platform itself.

He disclosed that he has advised Mr. Igboekweze to refrain from further briefings on the platform and instead focus on developing practical strategies to refund and fully settle all affected clients.

The Akuyienwataegwu na Okija further urged the administrators of the Okija Solution Movement to urgently constitute a Conflict Resolution Committee that will create a neutral forum for engagement between the debtor and all affected creditors, with a view to achieving an amicable and transparent resolution.

Dr. Igbojindu appealed to all parties and the general public to remain calm and law-abiding, expressing confidence that with sincerity and cooperation, the matter can be resolved within two weeks of the committee’s formation.

He emphasized that peace, accountability, and communal harmony must always take precedence in resolving disputes within Okija.
