The Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has invited Rufai Oseni and Reuben Abati of Arise TV to visit the state and see the projects carried out by his administration.
Okpebholo said the visit would allow the television presenters to witness the work done in Edo firsthand. According to him, once they see the projects, they will likely support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The governor also expressed confidence that the opposition would find it difficult to win the election.
He added that even if all the 33 governors of the All Progressives Congress were inactive, the opposition would still struggle to defeat the ruling party in 2027.
His comments have sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians debating the governor’s confidence about the upcoming election.
