Controversial DJ, Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has criticized singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, aka Portable, following remarks he made about Olamide.
Recently, Portable expressed frustration that Olamide didn’t invite him to perform at his London show, claiming in a video that he was instrumental in boosting Olamide’s fame.
DJ Chicken responded sharply, recalling how Olamide supported him financially a few years ago. He revealed that Olamide gave him N8 million, which he used to purchase a luxurious chair, and taunted Portable by asking if he owned anything similar. He also noted that Olamide has been borrowing chairs, seemingly highlighting Portable’s lack of resources.
Taking his criticism further, DJ Chicken warned Portable to stay away from Lekki and hinted at consequences if he dared to come to the area. He also questioned the singer’s bank balance while continuing to criticize him online.
The tension between DJ Chicken and Portable is long-standing, with both frequently insulting each other on social media.
A few months back, DJ Chicken called out Portable over a hotel he constructed near a mosque. Portable had posted about his real estate ventures, including the hotel, prompting DJ Chicken to mock him, suggesting that his unfinished projects would be better used for housing the homeless in Ogun State.
