Notable Men and Women From Anambra State were Nominated for BBC EDUCATION ICON AWARD 2021
The BBC EDUCATION ICON AWARD is a prestigious award that recognizes individuals and organizations making extraordinary contributions to children and youths in the fields of education, literacy and learning.
Our Honorees are supporting children in schools, remote towns and villages, or those living in zones where education is often an afterthought. Their programs nurture each student’s educational development, providing them with the confidence to become fully productive members of society.
The nomination processes were made open for a period of time after which selection processes followed by identifying the nominee’s active participation in Education.
After the thorough research and analysis on the individual contributions towards Education, only four (4) nominees were selected amongst the nine (9) nominated.
The Prospective Awardees are Chief Dr Frank Ewuzie (CEO SWANK CONCEPT LTD), Chief Gozie Nneji (Chairman, Gozie Group), High Chief Orji Ebele Emmanuel (CEO PORSCHE GROUP) and Amb Lilian Nwankwo (CEO LILYJUSTIN FOUNDATION)
The BBC EDUCATION ICON AWARD 2021 would be conferred on the awardees on December 10, 2021 at Prof Kenneth Dike Library Awka, Anambra state.
