Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has stated that she no longer wishes to be referred to by her former married name following her split from music icon Innocent “2baba” Idibia.
The mother of two shared her reaction on Instagram after visiting a nightclub where an LED bottle-service display featured her ex-husband’s surname, “Idibia.”
Annie responded subtly but unmistakably, posting a brief “Hmmm” on her Instagram story, which many fans saw as a sign of her disapproval of being linked to the name.
Soon after, she shared another update showing that a different club had respected her preference by using her maiden name, Annie Macaulay, on their LED display.
Appreciating the thoughtful gesture, Annie praised the club for honoring her choice and shared the moment with her fans online.
