Reality TV star Vee Iye has criticised comedian Seyi Law over his recent comments about Nigeria’s security situation.

Nigerian Entertainment News

Seyi Law made the remarks during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he was asked whether Nigeria is safer now than it was 10 years ago. In response, the comedian stated that kidnappers have been abducting people in their homes long before President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He also claimed that the country is safer under Tinubu compared to the two previous administrations.

“Nigeria is safer now than 10 years ago. This government has killed more bandits since Jonathan’s. When have you last heard of a bomb blast? It is not today that they have been kidnapping people in their houses,” he said.

Reacting to his statement, Vee described Seyi Law as a “desensitized Nigerian” who cannot see beyond his own interests. Her comment sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting her stance while others defended the comedian’s opinion.

Reacting, Vee wrote: “It’s not today that they have been kidnapping people in their house” A perfect example of a desensitised Nigerian citizen who can’t see past his own pockets.”
