Big Brother Naija All Stars’ first runner-up and Pepper Dem winner, Mercy Eke has stirred reactions with her response to the Guinness world record over Hilda Baci.
It is no longer news that the famous Nigerian chef, who made headlines in May when she attempted the Guinness World Record cook-a-thon and won has been dethroned in less than a year.
Following her dethronement, Guinness World Record via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter now known as X, sent a message questioning if she would someday reattempt breaking the record.
“Will we see you reattempt one day?”.
Replying on her behalf, Mercy Eke declares that the chef doesn’t have any desire to reattempt.
“No!!! She’s done and dusted”.

Her reply didn’t sit well with many netizens as they noted how Mercy attempted to win Big Brother Naija again by contesting in the All Stars show.

GISTLOVER.com reported on Tuesday that the famous chef had lost her Guinness World Record for the longest time spent cooking while standing.
The announcement was made by the Guinness Book of Records on their social media accounts. The new record holder, Alan Fisher from Ireland, completed an astonishing cooking marathon of 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.
