AWKA – The Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra state sector command has reported that a bad portion of the Enugu-Onitsha federal highway precisely at Amansea junction Awka has resulted in the death of a female commuter, leaving several others injured in the fatal crash.
The first information report on the incident as released by the command, the sector commander CC Adeoye Irelewuyi stated that the fatal road traffic crash occurred at Amansea junction, Hausa market by Awka-Enugu express way yesterday. The report says the crash was between two vehicles.
The report reads, ” An unidentified driver of a green Toyota Hiace bus with registration number: FGG88YG and unidentified driver of a red Mercedes Truck with no registration number.
