President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that electricity challenges will be addressed, pledging that the government is actively working on solutions.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) 8th National Convention, the president said:
“Many of you are lamenting about electricity. Don’t worry, we will fix it.”
The statement comes amid widespread concerns from citizens over frequent power outages and the rising cost of electricity.
President Tinubu’s remarks signal the government’s commitment to improving power supply and tackling one of the nation’s most pressing infrastructural challenges.
The APC convention, which brought together party leaders and delegates from across Nigeria, also featured discussions on governance, economic policies, and strategies to enhance service delivery to Nigerians.
Social media quickly reacted to the president’s statement, with many expressing cautious optimism, while others urged action beyond words.
