A viral video has sparked emotional reactions online after Fioda, sister of the late Ochanya, opened up about the lasting trauma her family continues to endure years after her death.

In the clip, she questioned public empathy and urged people to reflect on the emotional pain the family still carries.

“Did you ever stop for a moment to imagine, to think about the pain, about the trauma that Ochanya’s family has been carrying from this whole Ochanya’s situation?” she said.

Fioda explained that the pain has not faded, noting that every mention of the case brings back painful memories.

“Did you ever stop for a second just to imagine how painful it is whenever we hear about Ochanya’s case?” she added.

She also spoke about the effect of the tragedy on their mother, describing her condition as deeply troubling.

“My mother, we lost my mother the day we lost Ochanya. She is alive, but it’s just like a walking dead situation,” she said.

According to her, their mother has remained emotionally stuck in the moment of loss and continues to struggle daily.

“She has never stopped talking about Ochanya… we had to blackmail her… in order for us to save my mother from committing suicide,” she revealed.
