A Nigerian woman has spoken out about the financial and personal strain caused by ongoing electricity challenges in the country.
In a social media post, she detailed how the lack of consistent power supply is affecting her daily life.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, lack of electricity it really affecting me, to charge phone is now 500 Naira, 2000 Naira for gallons of water. We are barely surviving 😪, I went through a lot of struggles last year, and this I have been paying debt, but this electricity is making life harder,” she said.
Her post highlights the broader difficulties faced by many Nigerians, as rising utility costs and intermittent electricity supply continue to impact households and small businesses across the country.
