An elderly man has touched hearts online by insisting on personally saying goodbye to his daughter-in-law on her burial day, praising her for her care and exemplary character.
In a video that went viral on X (formerly Twitter), he shared that although she had been married to his youngest son for only four years, her presence left a lasting impression on him and the family.
He said:
“I called her Chimochima. She was married to my youngest son for just four years, yet now they tell me I shouldn’t speak about her. She was like my youngest daughter a wonderful daughter who truly cared for me. I have other daughters, but she stood out.”
He emphasized that her kindness, respect, and sincere love for the family made her more than just a daughter-in-law she had become like his own child.
