A recent church video featuring Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and a woman reportedly linked to Nigerian cleric Chris Okafor has stirred widespread reactions online.
In the footage, the actress and the woman were seen on the church pulpit during a service, where the movie star shared an emotional testimony about her life, struggles, and encounters with religious figures.
She recounted surviving multiple life-threatening experiences and expressed her belief that God preserved her life for a greater purpose.
“I’m standing here today as proof of God’s mercy. I should have died years ago, but He kept me alive,” she said.
The actress also reflected on her relationship with her mother, who was reportedly present during the service. She praised her mother for her unwavering support despite public criticism.
“People may judge me, but my mother never has. She’s my hero, and I love her dearly,” she added.
However, the part of her testimony that drew the most attention was her comments regarding religious leaders.
“Every pastor you know, every bishop you know, gives me money,” she claimed, prompting whispers and visible tension in the church.
She went on to allege that some individuals had attempted to buy her silence with financial offers.
“They even handed me a blank cheque and told me to fill in any amount. But their money is corrupt,” she said.
The actress asserted that God had directed her to reveal certain truths, though she did not name anyone specifically.
Throughout the testimony, Doris Ogala appeared to stand in solidarity with the woman, offering her support during the heartfelt moment.
