Social media activist VeryDarkMan has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Mirabel, addressing widespread calls for her arrest over alleged false accusations.
In a recent statement, he argued that Mirabel cannot legally be arrested for false accusation because she did not directly accuse any specific individual. According to him, for a case of false accusation to exist, there must be a clearly identified person who was wrongly accused.
He explained that while she may not face charges for false accusation, authorities could instead consider issues related to spreading false information. He added that under the law, the penalty for false accusation typically includes up to seven years imprisonment or the option of a fine.
His comments have sparked fresh debate online, with many social media users discussing the legal distinctions between false accusation and misinformation.

She just needed attention, you all should forgive her 😁
@Generalogist
If a man had posted how he raped an imaginary person then it turned out to be a lie, VDM won’t say this though. Let her be punished at least for peddling disturbing news such as this.
@wandypee
The issue here is that if there is a guy she despises at that time, she could have pointed to him as the suspect. Anyways, she needs rehabilitation and since no one was accused, she can’t be sent to prison really.

This doesn’t make sense. You can’t just wake up and accuse someone of rape when nothing like that happened. Nigerians need to set emotions aside and look at facts.

Did vdm get sense like this 🤔
