A student recounted a frightening encounter when she found an unfamiliar insect on her bed, sparking significant attention online.
The lady, identified as @LifeofFarah on TikTok, revealed that the incident occurred after she returned from a stressful Monday lecture. According to her, the insect crawled on her body while she was asleep.
Seeking answers, she turned to her followers to help identify the creature, noting that the experience left her shaken and struggling to sleep afterward.
In a video post that has since gained over 50,000 likes, the student explained that she initially assumed the insect was a cockroach or a wall gecko, only to later realise it was something entirely different.
Her post sparked reactions from netizens, many of whom expressed concern and shared advice on hygiene, pest control, and possible health risks.

POV: You were sleeping after such a hectic Monday class and then felt something walking on my body thinking it was even cockroach o. Then I saw an unknown insect. What do we call this? I don too suffer for this school. Omo if it’s not wall gecko, it’s cockroach, or that lizard that later turned to snake imagine sleeping in a room with that.
I can’t even close my eye back cause it feels like it’s all over my body. I don too cry. I don tire for this stupid things.
