In a renewed demonstration of grassroots leadership and commitment to human capital development, Dr. Frank Igbojindu (PhD) GMD Akpoazaa Group and Founder Akpoazaa Foundation hosted the Umuchima Youths of Ubahuagboba Village, Okija, Anambra State, where he unveiled bold plans to massively empower the youths beginning in 2026.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Igbojindu emphasized collective progress over individual success. “One car doesn’t make a convoy,” he said, underscoring the need to lift many along the journey to prosperity. He declared his clear target: to raise more than 20 millionaires within the next five years, through structured empowerment, mentorship, and opportunity creation.
The philanthropist and community leader reflected on his longstanding contributions to Ubahuagboba, including scholarships to 32 children from the village. Notably, he cited the full-fledged scholarship from Nursery 2 to university level awarded to Miss Udennaka, a lost-but-found kidnapping survivor—an initiative widely applauded as both compassionate and visionary. He also recalled the construction and donation of a solar-powered borehole to Ubahuagboba community, alongside multiple youth empowerment interventions over the years.
Speaking at the meeting, the Ubahuagboba Youth Chairman (Social), Ezeadina, and the Umuchima Youth Chairman Mr Cyril Abioko separately commended Dr. Igbojindu for his consistency, empathy, and results-driven leadership, describing him as a pillar of hope and development within the community.
The interactive session concluded on a high note with sumptuous meals and assorted drinks, reinforcing the spirit of unity, appreciation, and shared purpose among attendees.
As the community looks ahead to 2026, expectations are high that this renewed empowerment drive will translate vision into verifiable impact—turning potential into prosperity for Umuchima youths and beyond.
