The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, has credited Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s unopposed victory in the APGA primary election to the trust and confidence Ndi Anambra have in his leadership and administration. Udeze emphasized that Soludo’s tenure has brought numerous benefits to the state, highlighting his commitment to its development.
Speaking at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka during the APGA primary election, Udeze expressed gratitude to the APGA delegates from the state’s 326 electoral wards for returning Governor Soludo unopposed, calling it a strong show of support. He added that the overwhelming endorsement from the delegates serves as motivation for the governor, who, according to Udeze, has distinguished himself in efforts to elevate Anambra to the level of top-ranking states in Nigeria in terms of development.
The Speaker, visibly elated, expressed satisfaction that Governor Soludo’s good governance has won the hearts of Ndi Anambra. He urged the electorate, regardless of party affiliation, to make November 8, 2025, a significant day by ensuring Soludo’s re-election. Udeze reaffirmed the state legislature’s confidence in the governor, noting that the Assembly has passed a vote of confidence on Soludo in recognition of his impressive developmental strides.
Honourable Udeze also commended Soludo for the significant improvements in security during his administration and called on all citizens to prioritize the security of lives and property as a collective responsibility. He expressed confidence that APGA would secure victory in all 30 constituencies in the upcoming governorship election.
